This is the fourth consecutive year that Cleantech Scandinavia heads to China, bringing forth innovative cleantech companies and investors for an successful interaction with international and local players.
Last year’s trip was a great success and we are of course looking to not only match but top this at this year’s event! To learn more about last year’s event please visit http://showcase.cleantechscandinavia.com/china/pastevent/
The main purpose of the event is as always to put some of the most exciting cleantech companies from the Nordics, but also Canada and China in front of relevant investors and industry actors. To create a platform for investors and service providers from the four regions to form partnerships for potential co-investments and collaborations, to increase cleantech business between the regions at hand.
This year, Cleantech Scandinavia together with co-hosts Helsinki Business Hub and the Zhangjang Group will provide an unique opportunity to meet some of the best cleantech companies from Canada, the Nordics and Europe as well as investors, industry and city officials from China, Europe and North America, making this the perfect occasion to network and find potential investment opportunities, co-investors, partners etc.
By providing a mix of individual meetings, pitching opportunities, company visits, interesting key notes, networking opportunities and much more, Cleantech Capital Day in Shanghai will bring together the best of both investment opportunities and great cleantech solutions!
During the event there will be a specific focus on Smart Cities, Smart Machines, and Smart People as cleantech is an important growth sector that is gradually converging with The Internet of Things (IOT) and promises to make the world more resource efficient and green and to fuel global growth. Combined with the development of new materials, renewable energy sources and the implementation of a circular economy the world stands a great chance to decouple growth from environmental degradation.
